Public Space Designs

A few of our Public Space creations.

Lacuna

The Lacuna project, known as “the Big Back Yard Project” is a conceptual art exhibit located in the Saint Cloud City Hall that represents the findings from a local survey taken by individuals that live and work in the Saint Cloud – Lake George surrounding area.

Goal: Participants were invited to share ideas on activities and amenities they would like to see in and around the current city hall office building.

Nexus

Nexus project was a temporary light installation that was placed in the new Healing Center attached to the Coborn’s Cancer Center at CentraCare. It was comprised of 1,700 lengths of white ribbon representing the number of new patients that began their journey of combating cancer annually.

Goal: Patients (current or former) and their families were invited to engage in the project by offering words of thanks to care providers at the Coborn Cancer Center. Once the installation was dismantled pieces of the artwork containing notes from the community was gifted to staff and volunteers to show thanks for their help and service.
